| Description: | METER SPECIALIST
This job is posted internally only at this time.
The primary focus of the Meter Specialist is to obtain and enter meter readings on contracted customers via, phone, email, account visits or automated methods such as FM Audit and MWA.

| Duties: | Monitor missing meter reports daily and obtain missing meters.
Send manual meter requests.
Review service history for meters.
Call customers for meters.
Visit accounts for meters.
Review web sites daily for automated meters.
Obtain meters via fax.
Monitor ADS reports daily for meter rolls, max retry, unsuccessful attempts.
Update contact info in ADS for changes or new accounts.
Run daily meter history report for suspect meters.
Enter all meters obtained.
Liaise with contract administrators on meter discrepancies.
Perform other assignments as required. |
| Qualifications: | 2+ years experience in customer service and phone work.
Experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel, and able to create and maintain spreadsheets
Experience running and analyzing reports.
Must type 35 words per minute
Personable, with strong Customer Service skills
Strong relationship management skills, with Customers and Co-workers
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to self-supervise daily activities
Strong ability to analyze reports and manage priorities.
Must submit all reports and paperwork in a timely manner
Must display strong team mentality, and desire to help co-workers maximize their own potential
Must be a quick learner. Displays initiative. Has the ability to think outside the box to arrive at new and progressive solutions to problems
